Maybelline Superstay 7 day

1

The Maybelline Superstay nailpolish is really amazing. After painting my nails the color stayed on perfectly for a week. The nail polish is pigmented but you will need 2 layers to receive this effect. I love that it will stay glossy for a big part of the week as well so you have kind of the effect of gel nail polish . Your nails will feel really firm. This is like an at home manicure since it will dry fast and clean.  The applicator makes it easy to put the nail polish on because it is a bit bigger and hence it will have enough nail polish on it for the whole nail so you won’t get streaks when you apply it.

Hourglass ambient lighting blush dupe: Max Factor creme puff blush

9026195a90175a1f2be087f9e96d6375blush_maxfactor These Max Factor blushes are quite pigmented. You just need one stroke and your done. The Max Factor creme puff blushes are kind of glowy on the skin and really similar to the Hourglass version but for a way better price ( 12,95 in the Netherlands).

The colors are amazing and are from left to the right: 1. lovely pink: really light peachy/ pink with a nice gold sheen/shimmer, 2. alluring rose: light brown/gold color with golden sheen/shimmer (this one is ideal for a look with a bold lip), 3. gorgeous berrie: berrie color with golden sheen/shimmer and 4. seductive pink: pink with a golden sheen/shimmer.

I first bought seductive pink but later went back to get lovely pink and alluring rose. What do you guys think?

Dolce and Gabbana ready to wear Fall 2015

dolce-and-gabbana-fall-2015-3dolce-gabbana-fall-2015-4 Schermafbeelding 2015-03-02 om 19.15.29 I absolutely adore the make-up look Path McGrath made for Dolce and Gabbana. The focus in this look lays on a glowing skin and the rest of the make-up is either math pink hues (as seen on the left on Gigi Hadid) with a nice yet subtle wing liner or more golden and pink with an amazing matte red lipstick and also a subtle wing liner (as seen on Karlie Kloss). I just can’t stop about it. It can be incorporated through in your daily make-up, as party make-up and even for your own wedding. Path McGrath really outdid herself.

Offcoarse the Dolce and Gabbana ready to wear collection was equally amazing. It was focused on la famiglia and especially on la mama and looked quite Italian chique. The fabrics were nice and versatile. There were a lot of dresses with a pattern of kids drawings on it and the shoes and accessories were unbelievable detailed and super abundant. There were even some moms walking the runway with their kids to underline the the la mama theme of the collection. I just loved everything about it!

If you want to see the collection you can see it either here as a youtubeclip or as full pictures on style.com.

My go to powder for a flawless finish: Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder

healthy_balance_unifying_powder

I absolutely love the way the Bourjois Healty Balance Powder makes my skin look flawless and picture perfect. It sets your makeup and still manages to make your skin look natural. Also it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin so your skin can breathe. Sometimes I even use it just on it’s own. I would absolutely recommend everyone to use the Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder. Before this I used the Clinique Stay Matte Sheer pressed powder, however this sometimes made my skin look powdery. My sister advised me to get the color no. 52 (vanilla) which is the lightest color and to my surprise (since I have more of an olive colored skin) it was just the color for my skin. The price is not that bad at €11,49 the Clinque powder was almost three times the price at €31,-. I also want to try the Bourjois Healthy Balance foundation and the concealer since I am so positively surprised by the powder, so to be continued….

My go to for a dewy look: L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi

loreal-magic-lumi-light-infusing-primer

The L’Oréal Paris Lumi Magic light infusing primer will make you shine (in the good way). I have combination skin and when I apply it on my face I don’t put it on my T-zone to prevent it from getting too oily. It is a average primer and your make-up will look good for some part of the day but if you want your makeup to be flawless there are other better options.

However it is amazing for a dewy, glowy look and the L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi will leave your skin feeling hydrated. It is possible to use it without make-up for a glow which is not glittery but more like a sheen on your complexion and some people even use it as an highlighter. I like to use it on those days where I want to put a little more work on my make-up and put the focus on my dewy skin. What do you think?
